Burt’s Bees

Burt’s Bees creates products that are in harmony with our environment, from lip balm to skin lotion. Now they wanted to expand into food. So they asked Studio Lo to help them create a global positioning and brand that would allow them to make a smooth entry into the finicky food category.

Our cultural eye is being trained to desire food that is luscious and tantalizing. And yet they are out of our reach – “food porn” exists because we are short on time and inspiration, and yet have a deep human longing for such nourishment.

Insight:
