Sunday

Sunday reinvented lawn care from the ground up, combining science, climate data, technology, and cleaner ingredients. As Head of Brand, I helped reimagine what lawn care could mean for people and their yards.

Insight

We saw an opportunity to reframe the yard as a place to live. It’s where we learned to ride without training wheels, turned cartwheels, and howled with friends on warm summer nights. By reminding people of the memories made outside, we could shift their focus from perfect grass to a healthier space for living. With science, technology, and a better understanding of nature, Sunday could help bring that vision to life. The opportunity was bigger than competing in lawn care: it was to redefine the category by reconnecting people with what their yards mean to them.

Design Influence

Lawn care can be complicated and overwhelming. So the design needed to feel clear, approachable, and intuitive at first glance. We blended agriculture and technology aesthetics, pairing earth tones with modern tech design so the experience felt smart, yet human. Earth and data worked together in a way that just made sense. Technology made human.
